How is the commute up the hills? | Utilities offered in Peachland? |

This a common question, and the answer is that it is generally good. Snow happens usually December 15 to end of January. Our city snow crews are on the roads very quickly and I have to estimate the roads are 95% bare. Good tires are a must, and if they is a snow storm, good idea to stay put until the crews are out there clearing the snow. It may happen 1-2 times per winter when we may have to wait a bit before our next shopping trip. | Peachland enjoys full service. District of Peachland offers garbage pickup, sewer ( when available), water, and we do have a water treatment plant, may have the best water in the valley. Telus and Rogers offers internet/phone. Fortis is our gas supplier, and BC Hydro is our power provider. The local community has it all for local services, and yes we do have to access Kelowna services like shopping (Costco). |

What is the best features about Peachland?

I always have the perfect answer- no mosquites and no parking meters ( people from Alberta love this). Peachland being so close to the water with long lakeshore, less traffic, and community spirit really sets Peachland apart from the rest. People love living here (would not go anywhere else) and it makes people happy. Winters are ok, a little slow, but cannot beat the summertime resort vibe that happens in Peachland.
